What makes a home? A tour of our Italian palazzo

My physical surroundings have always been very important to me. I need to have a clean and calm environment to feel relaxed and safe. I have also moved around a lot in my thirties and enjoy filling my home with treasures from my favorite places: my vintage rug from Philadelphia, a beautiful ceramic berry bowl from Maine, and cozy woolen slippers from Portugal.

My husband found our apartment before we arrived in Napoli and I couldn’t believe my eyes: it had the most beautiful views I’d ever seen! And it was much, much bigger than our San Diego Spanish casita. More importantly, I envisioned this home aligning with my values and what is important to me in a living space.
