I love Nice - it was my home for a year as a student in 1990. I've been back once, but not recently. So, it's lovely to read and see your updates.!

Lisa, you HAVE to go back! It's so different even from when I was a student there in 2008. So modern and beautiful. Thanks for reading ;)

My daughter wants to go - so I need to make it happen. Thanks for inspiring me, Brenna.

Oh, I’m absolutely swooning over here, Brenna. I have only spent 48 hours in Paris, and would love to spend more time there…and explore the rest of France! (At the top of my itinerary would be eating all the viennoiserie.)

It was so emotional for me to go to the boulangerie! All of the wonderful memories I have of living in France came rushing back!

Despite the made-up war against France that Italians are fighting (mostly in our own head) I have been to Nice, Cannes, Orange and Avignone on a school trip and I found the fancy South of France a bit overrated. But again, we have similar views, slow-living, and well-put together attitude in Italy as well. The history though? 10/10!

Oh really? I found Nice, Orange and Avignon to be amazingly beautiful :) Cannes I agree could be skipped!

I will have to add the south of France to my list of places to go, as I have only been to Paris. Congratulations on your 100th post! That is quite a milestone. I would like to find a simple way to celebrate my own hundredth when I get there. Thirty some to go yet...🤔💜

Paris is so great and there is so much more to see of France! 🇫🇷 Thanks Sherry. I definitely think it’s good to find ways to celebrate yourself.
