I thought about it forever and have listened to her on a few podcasts. It was an amazing book.

Love the way you wrote this roundup, especially the lines about where you were transported via the characters you read ✨ I have fond childhood library memories too.

Also this -- “if you want to be a good writer, you’ve got to be a good reader.” -- something I’m learning too!

And congrats on one year of weekly posts!! 👏 I’m approaching that mark myself 🙃 Grateful to have connected with you here—Happy New Year!

Thanks for sharing Brenna. I also read Tom Lake this year but personally had a hard time digesting it :P

Such a great post. As a child who hid in libraries to make it easier to adjust to the many moves of our military family - reading is both a refuge and an adventure. Thanks so much.

My husband was a military kid! I give military kids so much credit. It’s hard for me to adjust as an adult! A few of these books I found on base at wonderful used bookshops.

Thank you for sharing!! I just reserved a couple of these on my Libby (library) app. Can’t wait to dive in, especially to I’m Mostly Here to Enjoy Myself and Writers & Lovers.

Love this list! I read a few of these or have them on my shelf waiting to be picked up. But, I’m most excited to bookmark a few more.
