Here in Sevilla the go-to tomatoes are from Los Palacios and wow did you get me excited for when they’re in season. Is gazpacho popular in Italy? I love a good gazpacho, I do tomatoes, onion, a little bit of garlic, cucumber, green pepper, and lots of olive oil vinegar and salt, immersion blender and voila.
"If Neapolitans knew how good they had it, they would remove their Diego Maradonna effigies and start praying to the Patron Saint of Pomodorini." - Loved this line, Brenna! (And love a good summer tomato, too.)
I smiled ear to ear reading this. I too learned that I only hate tomatoes in the US! Thanks for reminding me of how delicious they can be 🤤
I miss the Italian tomatoes ! Nothing in America even compares 😭

No, no gazpacho 😢 I’ll have to go to Spain for it!
You should try making it too if you’re up for it, the key ingredient is delicious tomatoes and it’s so easy to make! 😊
I feel all of this so deeply! Cheers to more years filled with tomatoes!

Me too!!
I am waiting (patiently?) for the tomatoes up here in the far north to be ready 😂😉
